Battersea: home to pubs, a park and a power station. But not just any power station: Battersea Power Station cast its iconic silhouette against London's skyline since since the 1930s, when it powered a fifth of the city's electricity. It was decommissioned in the 80s, when it languished – until now. The building is now home to a thriving hub of shops and restaurants. And, of course, a banger of an Indytute experience. Cinnamon Kitchen at Battersea Power Station
A nine-course dinner and a historic tour of a London landmark? Don't mind if we do – and especially when it's at Cinnamon Kitchen, an outpost of renowned chef Vivek Singh's Michelin-starred Cinnamon Club. With our experience, you'll wet your whistle with a mango sour before diving into plates of banana leaf sea bass, Bengali shrimp and turmeric curry and heaps more. If you're coming for lunch, you'll get a three-course meal (well hello there spiced chicken gnocchi). And then you'll be able to walk all of it off (or at least your dessert) with a self-guided audio tour of the Power Station itself. Talk about a treat.
Battersea Brewery
After your dinner, amble to Cinnamon Kitchen's neighbour, Battersea Brewery. No prizes for guessing what you'll find here. You'll find a selection of craft beers as well as the brewery's own, Aura. And if you're still peckish (alright, you greedy thing you), you can pick at nibbly bits like charcuterie from cured meat connoisseurs Cannon & Cannon. Yu-um.
Walk around Battersea Park

Battersea Park is one of London's finest, and with good reason. It has everything you could possibly ask for and then some: views of the Thames, an art gallery at The Pump House (check it's open in these unusual times), a zoo, pedalos on the lake, walled gardens: the list goes on. And, of course, it has the Battersea Peace Pagoda, given to London by Japanese Buddhist the Venerable Nichidatsu Fuji. Aaaaand breathe.
Birdies golf
If you want to ramp things up rather than relax, get your competitive juices flowing at Birdies crazy golf. But this isn't any old crazy golf: you won't find a single miniature windmill here. Instead you'll find a brilliant bar (complete with snacks) and a challenging, inventive nine-hole course. Remember though – no one likes a sore loser.
Four Thieves
From park to pub: the Four Thieves is one of Battersea's finest drinking dens, home to games, a micro brewery, food, events and more. It's genuinely seriously good fun, no matter what mood you're in – we recommend stopping in for a nightcap or three.
Bababoom
More food you say? Well, it's one of life's greatest pleasures, after all. Bababoom does brilliant kebabs, brilliant cocktails and is, well, brilliant. The atmosphere might be laid back, but the cooking is anything but.
Take the Thames Clipper
To really put the cherry on top of your day out in Battersea, arrive at the Power Statio in style – by boat. Yes, really. The Thames Clipper – aka Uber Boat these days – will drop you off right outside, as befits your baller status.
